1. Terms & Conditions (Rental Agreement)

Acceptance

Eligibility

• Hold a valid Indian Driving Licence appropriate for the vehicle being rented.

Riant Bikes reserves the right to reject any booking if verification is unsuccessful.

Booking

Bookings are confirmed only after:

• Successful payment (where applicable).
• Verification of customer identity.
• Verification of driving licence.
• Availability of the selected vehicle.

Vehicle Usage

The customer agrees:

• To ride responsibly.
• Not to allow any unauthorized person to ride the vehicle.
• Not to use the vehicle for racing, stunts, illegal activities, commercial carriage, or towing.
• Not to operate the vehicle under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any intoxicating substance.

Vehicle Condition

• Customers must inspect the vehicle before accepting delivery.
• Any existing damages should be reported immediately.
• Failure to report visible damages may result in responsibility being assigned to the customer.

Fuel

Vehicles shall be returned according to the applicable fuel policy communicated during booking.

Late Return

• Additional rental charges may apply for delayed return of the vehicle.
• Repeated delays may result in suspension of future bookings.

Traffic Violations

The customer is solely responsible for:

• Traffic challans
• Parking penalties
• Toll charges
• Government fines incurred during the rental period

Accidents

In case of an accident, customers must:

• Inform Riant Bikes immediately.
• Inform the local police where legally required.
• Cooperate with insurance and investigation procedures.

Termination

Riant Bikes reserves the right to terminate any rental if:

• False information has been provided.
• Documents are forged.
• Terms are violated.
• Illegal activity is suspected.

2. Security Deposit Policy

Certain bookings may require a refundable security deposit. The amount depends on:

• Vehicle category
• Rental duration
• Customer profile
• Operational policies

The security deposit may be used to recover:

• Vehicle damage
• Missing accessories
• Fuel shortages
• Traffic fines
• Late return charges
• Cleaning charges due to excessive dirt or misuse
• Any contractual liability

Unused balances are refunded after inspection, subject to any pending liabilities.

3. Customer Verification (KYC) Policy

To protect customers and prevent fraud, Riant Bikes requires Know Your Customer (KYC) verification. Customers may be required to upload:

• Aadhaar Card
• Driving Licence
• Photograph or selfie (if requested)

Documents are verified before vehicle handover. Riant Bikes may refuse service if:

• Documents appear altered or forged.
• Verification fails.
• Driving licence is expired or invalid.
• Customer identity cannot be reasonably confirmed.

Submission of KYC documents does not guarantee booking approval.

4. Cookie Policy

5. Damage & Accident Liability Policy

The customer is responsible for the vehicle from the time it is handed over until it is returned and accepted by Riant Bikes. Customers must immediately report:

• Theft
• Fire
• Mechanical breakdown
• Third-party claims

Customers may be liable for repair costs where damage results from:

• Negligence
• Reckless riding
• Violation of traffic laws
• Unauthorized use
• Driving under the influence
• Breach of the rental agreement

Normal wear and tear is not considered customer damage. Insurance coverage, where applicable, remains subject to the insurer's terms and exclusions.

6. User Consent for Uploading Aadhaar and Driving Licence

By uploading identity documents to the Riant Bikes website, you expressly consent to:

• Collection of your personal information.
• Verification of your identity.
• Verification of your driving eligibility.
• Secure storage of documents for legitimate business and legal purposes.
• Use of the information for fraud prevention, customer verification, dispute resolution, and legal compliance.

You confirm that:

• The uploaded documents belong to you.
• The information provided is accurate.
• You are legally authorised to provide the documents.

Riant Bikes will not sell or commercially exploit your identity documents.

7. Grievance Redressal Policy

Riant Bikes is committed to resolving customer concerns fairly and promptly. Customers may submit complaints relating to:
